Tanning Instructions
  • It is recommended that clients wait at least 8 hours before showering
    after tanning service.  For best results do not shower until the next day.
  • Excessive sweating, and/or showering within 8 hours of the tanning
    service is not recommended.
    It is recommended to shower before tanning.

    It is recommended to shave legs before tanning, if you are someone who currently
    shaves her legs. If you don't currently shave your legs, don't worry, your tan will
    look great.

    It is recommended to exfoliate before tanning especially knees and heels.

    The Hotel requests that all guests at the hotel be properly attired when in public
    spaces.  Please wear loose cotton clothing to and from tanning appointment.

    Clients may wear underwear or bathing suits during the tanning procedure.

    It is recommended that clients wear flip flops to and from the tanning appointment.

    It is normal for shower water to turn brown during the first shower after the tanning
    procedure.  This is excess tanning bronzer.

    Spray tans will last four to seven days after the procedure.  Spray tans last longer
    if clients wait at least 8 hours to shower following the procedure.

    Spray tans last longer if the area is moisturized 24 hours after your tan is applied
    and shaving is minimized.
Tanning services are only available for female clients.  Clients may only be
accompanied by female guardians.  All tanning services will be performed by
female technicians.
DO NOT wear make-up, deodorant, moisturizer or any other product that could
hinder your skin's ability to absorb the spray tanning solution prior to your
appointment. Avoid applying any of the above, 8 hours prior to your spray tan.
When you take your first shower after the spray tan application, (which should
be at least 8 hours after the spray tan) your shower should be a very light one.  
Just use water to rinse off and use a minimal amount of soap.  Do Not Scrub
your body with a washcloth or anything else.  Pat yourself dry with a towel; Do
Not rub with the towel.  Make sure that all of the bronzer is washed off.  You will
know when the bronzer is washed off once the shower water is running clear.
Do Not put on your dress or socks that you will be dancing in, until after you have
taken your first shower after the spray tan.
The Longer you wait to shower after the tan has been applied, the deeper and
darker your tan will be.
